GDC had the pleasure of working with Brightstone, a non-profit organization that strives to help families and adults with special needs and disabilities, to design their new 140-acre campus, “Land of Dreams”, which is equipped to serve their residents in everyday life. GDC was the lead planner for this project, located south of Franklin on Columbia Pike.

This new community will include a group residential living facility for adults, horticulture and equestrian centers, green houses, along with a center for learning, art, and enterprise center – giving the employees and volunteers the capacity to serve their residents in a variety of ways to help hone their skills and learn about many different career interests. Many ways they help include programs in visual, cultural, and language arts education, along with therapy in health and wellness. Brightstone has a chapel and open courtyard for outdoor gatherings.
